Bio: You don’t have to travel abroad to add some excitement to your life! Peru can come to you!! This boy has gained an immediate fan following amongst the shelter volunteers- here’s what they’ve said:

“I walked Peru today for the first time. He was a true gentleman. Easy to leash up, easy walker and took treats gently. He was not reactive on our walk when we passed by other dogs. I`m a big fan!”

“Peru is an absolute joy to walk- leashes easily, not reactive to other dogs, and enjoys sniffing through the park. Very sweet boy.”

“Peru is just a delightful, happy boy. He enjoys taking in the smells and was a nice loose-leash walker. Affectionate and takes treats gently. Peru is a sweet boy with a joyful disposition!”

“Peru is a sweet, friendly young pup. He is a big sniffer and was more interested in getting all the smells than actually walking. He enjoys attention and he got a big smile on his face and a waggly tail, leaning into me for pets. He is a friendly, happy boy who I look forward to walking again!”

Peru also headed out on a field trip where he went out to breakfast, played by the pool, tested out some new toys and even hiked on Mt. Lemmon:

“Peru is the straightest string bean when he stretches out, and the friendliest when meeting new people. He needs someone who wants an adventure buddy to take on hikes, to nap with, and who can take the time to continue training and show him normal day to day life. Peru is eager to please, treat motivated, and even after just one day, he was so sweet. He took a nap on the couch with me and also continually looked back on the hike to make sure everyone was with the pack.”

Peru shares his kennel with another PACC pup and has been playful and easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup. Ask to meet Peru today!!
