Meet Misprint! One-of-a-Kind Looks, Unlimited Puppy Personality!

Born mid-August 2026, Misprint is one of our darling Shepherd/Husky mix puppies who joined rescue after she and her littermates were sadly dumped along the side of the road and taken in by local animal control. Thankfully, their story didn't end there, and now Misprint is looking for a family who will give her the wonderful life she deserves!

Well, somebody definitely made a little misprint when they created this girl, and we're so glad they did! Misprint has gorgeous German Shepherd-style black and tan markings, a beautiful cream-colored chest, adorable white-tipped paws, and two different colored eyes: one icy blue and one warm brown! Add in those enormous upright ears and you've got one pretty unforgettable puppy!

But she's much more than a pretty face. Misprint is full of puppy energy, happiness, curiosity, and love. She is friendly, outgoing, and enjoys meeting new friends. She has been around other dogs, cats, and children and has done well with them. Like any young puppy, she is still learning about the world and will need guidance, socialization, and plenty of positive experiences as she grows.

Now, let's talk about those breeds! German Shepherds and Siberian Huskies are both intelligent, active, and incredibly capable dogs, but they also come with some very real commitments.

German Shepherds are known for their loyalty, intelligence, confidence, and protective instincts. They thrive when given a job to do and need consistent training, structure, and mental challenges. Huskies are energetic, independent, adventurous, and often quite vocal. They have a strong prey drive, a natural instinct to run, and can be talented escape artists. They may also have a stubborn streak that makes consistent training especially important.

A Shepherd/Husky mix can bring together many of these wonderful traits, but prospective adopters need to be prepared for an active, intelligent dog who will need much more than a backyard and a food bowl. Daily exercise, mental enrichment, obedience training, socialization, and ongoing engagement will be essential. A secure, appropriate outdoor area is important, and potential adopters should be prepared for shedding, particularly during seasonal coat changes.

Misprint is adorable, but please don't let those puppy eyes fool you! These puppies are a serious, long-term commitment. The adorable puppy stage doesn't last forever, and without proper training, boundaries, exercise, and consistency, these intelligent breeds can develop unwanted behaviors when their needs aren't met.

We are looking for responsible, committed adopters who have experience with or have thoroughly researched these breeds and understand what it takes to raise a well-adjusted adult dog. Puppies require patience, house training, crate training, socialization, veterinary care, obedience training, and a lifelong commitment to their well-being. They are not a good match for every household or lifestyle.

A note about adopting siblings: We do not adopt littermates into the same home. Raising two puppies of the same age together can create challenges commonly referred to as littermate syndrome, including excessive dependence on one another and difficulty developing independent confidence and bonding with their people. We want each puppy to have the individual attention, training, and opportunities needed to grow into a confident, well-adjusted adult.

If you have the time, commitment, active lifestyle, and dedication to help Misprint become the amazing adult dog she is meant to be, she is waiting to meet you!

Misprint deserves a lifetime of adventures, love, guidance, and a family who understands that bringing home a puppy is a commitment for the next 10–15 years, not just a decision based on how cute she is today.
