?Currently located in South Korea?? ??Available to fly to U.S. and Canada?? ?? Meet Hanggu ?? ?? Name: Hang-gu ?? Gender: Male ?? Age: Estimated 1 year old (Born in July 2025) ?? Weight: 16 kg / 35.27 kg ?? Hang-gu's News Account: @_adogs_ 1?? Health Condition * Neutered. * Microchipped and heartworm negative. 2?? Rescue Story * Hang-gu was found neglected inside a dirty, elevated wire cage. Upon receiving a report, Adogs rushed to the scene and found him struggling to survive on contaminated leftover food and dirty water. Fearing for his severe malnutrition and health, Adogs immediately stepped in to rescue him. 3?? Basic Information * With People: His fear of humans has decreased significantly lately. Courageously approaches people from behind to sniff them, and when he sees a treat container, he is the first to run into his kennel with a big happy smile to wait. While he still finds physical touch unfamiliar and avoids hands in open areas, he calmly accepts gentle pets once guided into a cozy corner. * With Dogs: Is the best friend of #AdogsHaram and actively approaches close dog friends with sweet affection to invite them to play. * With Cats: Shows very little interest in cats. * Separation Anxiety: Currently living in a group setting at our center, so individual separation anxiety cannot be fully assessed. Gentle home-adaptation training may be needed after adoption. * Potty Training: Currently does most of his potty business indoors at our center with occasional outdoor potty. Potty training will need to be continued in a home environment. * Hygiene: Tends to run away when seeing a brush, but tolerates brushing patiently when held gently by his leash in a corner. * Walks: Currently has fear toward leashes—he freezes up the moment a leash is attached, and if pulled, he bites at the leash. Step-by-step, patient desensitization training for walking gear (harness/leash) is essential before starting regular walks. * Car Sickness: Experiences motion sickness and is prone to vomiting during car rides. * Has bitten at his leash when pulled forcefully. Because he is timid, caution is recommended to avoid making him feel cornered, as defensive reactions could occur if extremely frightened. * Has never shown random barking or whining. * Is curious, lively, and active. Loves running around and playing with compatible dog friends. Isn't particularly bothered by noises, but still feels intimidated by humans, so a soft, patient, and slow approach is recommended.
