Description: My name is Venus.
I am a spayed female, tan Bulldog.
I am a spayed female, tan Bulldog.
Age: I am an adult animal
More Info: I am available for adoption now!
?? MEET VENUS! ?? We just cannot believe she is still available for adoption. She is such a sweetheart. Venus’s story is heartbreaking, but her future can be beautiful. ?? When Venus first came into rescue, her first week was spent receiving 24/7 hospital care. She was on IV fluids, antibiotics, and pain medication after suffering several broken ribs. We strongly suspect her injuries were the result of being kicked by humans. We also have a strong suspicion that Venus somehow escaped a life as a bait dog in a dog-fighting situation, something that sadly remains a reality for some dogs. Despite everything she has endured, Venus has never lost her love for people. ?? Venus is a 2-year-old pocket Pit Bull with soft tan fur, the cutest short little legs, and a heart that is SO much bigger than her 35-pound self. She is the perfect size for snuggling and is fully grown, so she won't be getting any bigger! Venus isn't a fan of cats or other dogs, so she would do best as the only pet in her home. But when it comes to her people, Venus makes up for it with loyalty, affection, and the sweetest personality. She has been through more than any dog should ever have to endure. Now she deserves something simple: A safe home. A soft bed. A loving family. And a lifetime of knowing she is finally safe. Venus is ready to brighten someone's world — and we think she deserves to have hers brightened, too. ?? ?? Message us to learn more about adopting Venus. ?? Adoptions will take place at the North Fayette PetSmart in Robinson Township, PA. Our Rescue works side by side with that PetSmart! If you're interested in welcoming this precious pup into your family, send us a message! We'll be happy to send you an adoption application. ?? Adoption Fee: $300 Your puppy's adoption fee includes: ?? Spay/neuter ?? Age-appropriate vaccinations ?? Deworming ?? Current heartworm and flea prevention ?? Microchip We look forward to hearing from you!
