Hi, I’m Brutus! I’m a 3-year-old, 90-pound Anatolian Shepherd mix, and while I may look like a big, tough guy, I’m actually a giant teddy bear with a soft heart and a wonderfully goofy personality! I’m the kind of dog who makes you smile without even trying. I’m not particularly interested in being the life of the party. I’d much rather be wherever my people are, preferably sprawled across their feet. Personal space? Never heard of it! I’m currently being fostered in Temperance, Michigan, where I’ve been showing everyone just how lovable a big guy like me can be. I’m a mellow, easygoing fellow who gets along beautifully with people and other dogs. I’ve mastered the art of doing absolutely nothing and being completely happy about it! Don’t get me wrong, I have my silly moments, but most of the time I’m content to relax, enjoy some affection and keep you company. I’m a gentle soul who doesn’t ask for much, just a soft place to land and someone to love. I haven’t been around cats yet, but I can be cat tested upon request. I was rescued from a high-kill shelter down south, and although my past is a bit of a mystery, I’m more than ready to make some wonderful new memories with a family of my own. I’m fully vetted, neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. My adoption also includes one month of free pet insurance.
