I am a neutered male, brown brindle Plott Hound.
Age: I am an adult animal
More Info: I am available for adoption now!
Handsome Neil is 75 lbs of PURE LOVE. This brindle boy captures the hearts of all who meet him, and he wants to meet everyone! Neil has zero concept of personal space and has no clue how big and strong he is. He has a zest for life and is happy to be wherever his person is. With slow, appropriate introductions, Neil does well with other dogs. He has a roughhousing play style that can be a bit much for others, but he settles down and plays nicely when he wears his muzzle. Neil is very food motivated - with treats, he muzzle trained in a few hours and learned "kennel" in about 10 minutes! Neil has struggled with "laydown" on command, and it adorably appears almost like he can't get his front and back ends to work together. Neil loves the kiddos he has met, however, he is a bit much! His full body hugs are not for the faint of heart, the wee ones, or for those unaccustomed to 75lbs tackling you with kisses. (We're working on his ability to tone it down). Neil is crate trained, house trained, and walks ok on a leash with a halter or no-pull harness. He's got a huge heart, not a whole lotta coordination, and the sweetest face that will win over his perfect forever family.
