I am a spayed female, gray and white Pit Bull Terrier.
Age: I am a puppy
More Info: I am available for adoption now!
Shelia is such a pretty color, and her beautiful eyes are everything. She is estimated to about 8 months old and weighs 24 pounds right now. Here are a few nice facts about her: Just loves to cuddle Gives the best kisses Can have a submissive body posture with lots of exposing her belly Is more petite than pictures show, one of the volunteers likes to call her "my little mouse" Loud noises and big/quick movements can be scary for her Really seeks reassurance from you Wants to be close Easily relinquishes her toys, what a good girl Needs a leader to look to for comfort and guidance Will need continued positive socialization and confidence building Best in a more active type of home with her puppy energy Needs a home where any children are respectful and at least 4 years old with her timid nature She is still just a baby and will just blossom in the right home with guidance, where she feels safe and loved Can't wait for you to meet her, she really wants a family to love If there is another nice doggy sibling in the home, Shelia would like to meet them. She does have some avoidance at first, but with a slow introduction, Shelia did start to warm up, but she remained guarded. She has a lot of what look to be bite marks on her front legs so she may have had negative experiences with other dogs. It will be very important to provide Sheila with positive dog/dog experiences. If you are interested in Shelia and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend! *Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*
