I am a spayed female, white Maltese.
Age: I am a young animal
More Info: I am available for adoption now!
Lucita is a little cutie! She is estimated to be about 3 years old and weighs 19 pounds. She will have much cuter pictures coming soon. Meet Lucita, such an endearing girl with a heart full of love just waiting to be discovered. When she first arrived at the rescue, her beautiful fur was incredibly matted, and she had to be shaved to give her some relief. Now that she's comfortable, Lucita is showing her true, sweet nature. Currently, Lucita is a little cautious and scared, especially around new people. However, those who take the time to get to know her will soon find her loving side. When she sees one of the volunteers she knows at the rescue, her whole demeanor changes—she lights up, wanting to crawl into their lap and fully engage with them. It’s clear that with patience and love, Lucita will open up and be her true self and it will be so worth the wait. Lucita is hopeful and ready to find her forever home where she can feel safe and loved. She will need a home where any children are at least 13 years old with her shy nature. Lucita would love it you wanted to meet her, she is dreaming of having a family. If you are interested in Lucita and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend! *Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*
