Meet Aramis! ???? Meet Aramis, a handsome little gentleman who's ready to charm his way into your heart! Aramis is a 2-year-old Schnauzer mix with the softest fur and an even softer heart. He's a gentle, sweet boy who loves nothing more than being close to his people. Whether you're relaxing in your favorite chair or settling in for the evening, Aramis is happiest curled up right beside you. And if you're willing to give him a few ear scratches or neck rubs, you'll have a friend for life! Aramis is still getting comfortable in his foster home, but he's already showing what a wonderful companion he can be. He's a little timid at first, which is understandable given all the changes he's experienced, but his sweet personality is beginning to shine. He's even started playing with his foster siblings! He gets along well with other dogs, and while he hasn't been tested with cats or children, his gentle nature is very encouraging. One of Aramis's favorite things is his crate! He happily settles in and sleeps peacefully through the night. And so far, his foster family hasn't heard a single bark out of him! **A few things to know about Aramis:** - ?? **Age:** 2 years - ?? **Breed:** Schnauzer mix - ?? **Personality:** Gentle, affectionate, sweet, and a little shy - ?? **Other Dogs:** Dog friendly! - ?? **Children:** Not yet tested, but expected to do well - ?? **Cats:** Unknown - ?? **Crate Training:** Loves his crate and sleeps through the night - ?? **House Training:** Currently working on marking behavior and wearing a belly band indoors - ?? **Medical:** Neuter scheduled; heartworm positive and preparing to begin treatment Aramis is heartworm positive and is currently completing his prescribed antibiotics before beginning his heartworm treatment. His future family will need to be committed to helping him through the treatment and recovery process. He's also scheduled to be neutered, which may help reduce his marking behavior as he continues adjusting to life in a home. And about that adorable face! Aramis's signature Schnauzer eyebrows and beard had to be trimmed due to matting when he arrived from the shelter, but don't worry—his handsome little Schnauzer look will grow back! **Aramis doesn't ask for much.** Just a comfortable spot beside you, a few loving scratches, and a family willing to give him the patience and care he deserves. If you're looking for a gentle, devoted little companion with a heart full of love, **Aramis may be exactly who you've been waiting for!** ?? Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies!
