*Meet Cassidy! Soft Heart, Steady Courage*
Cassidy is all sweetness on the
inside. She arrived at the shelter with another dog and is currently part
of the Shy Dog Program, bravely learning that the world isnt such a scary
place after all. And guess what? Shes getting braver every single day.
With the people she knows, Cassidy is affectionate, gentle, and quietly
loving. She doesnt rush into relationships she lets them bloom, and when
they do, they're real. Shes wonderfully dog-friendly and lights up when
she meets other pups through the fence, offering enthusiastic play bows
like, *Hi, lets be friends immediately.*
Cassidy is far more interested in treats than toys or balls, and she loves
sniffing around her environment in search of tasty treasures. A home with
another friendly dog may help her feel more confident as she settles in,
and a meet-and-greet is recommended to make sure everyone is a perfect
match.
If youre looking for a gentle soul who will grow more confident with love,
patience, and maybe a pocket full of treats, Cassidy is ready to start her
next chapter with you.
Cassidy is currently in foster and this is what her foster mom had to say: 'Cassidy is really remarkable in a lot of ways - she never barks! Even when the deer or another dog goes by the yard. But she does "talk" - with lots to say in the morning before her walk. And she is 100% house trained (from day 1.) I have never had a mess in the house even when leaving her for several hours. She sits, stays, and after a lot of work, she now trusts me enough to come when I call her name.'
