Buffy (formerly known as Pink) is a sweet and shy friend who is ready to make your life wonderful. She has been gradually becoming more comfortable in the world and I think will benefit from a quiet, stable home. She tends to hang out in "safe" spots--the condo in a cat tree or under a chair; sometimes she is hard to find!
Once I am settled, buffy sits next to my thigh, on my lap, or behind my neck. At night she tends to sleep in the cat tree, but sometimes is on the bed. She is increasingly comfortable being pet and she purrs readily, but does not like to be picked up or held.
Buffy is frisky with her toys and loves to chase her own tail. She is also very interested in my older cat's tail, but she doesn't want to play. I think buffy would enjoy a buddy who is playful but not too rough.
Overall, I think that once buffy is in a familiar routine and as she continues to mature, she will relax even more. She will be a delight to have around for a gentle and patient friend.
