Roman is a 6-year-old neutered Pit Bull mix who proves that good things come
in medium-sized packages. At just 45 pounds, he`s the perfect size for
adventures during the day and cuddles on the couch afterward.
When Roman first arrived at the shelter, he was a little shy and unsure of
everything. With a little time and kindness, he`s blossomed into a friendly,
affectionate guy who absolutely loves being with people. In fact, he`s
something of a professional Velcro dog-his favorite place is wherever you
happen to be. Whether he`s leaning in for pets or following you around the
yard, Roman just wants to be part of the action.
Roman gets excited when it`s time to leave his kennel, but he`s easy to
leash and walks nicely with only a little pulling. He especially enjoys
sniffy walks, taking his time to investigate every interesting scent along
the way. He`d make an excellent walking, hiking, or adventure buddy for
someone who enjoys getting outdoors.
When it`s time to play, Roman is always ready for a game of tug-of-war. He
doesn`t seem very interested in other dogs, preferring to focus all of his
attention on his favorite humans instead.

partner, cuddle bug, and shadow, Roman is ready to stick by your side for
all of life`s adventures.
