Description: My name is Leo and I am a male, black and white American Pit Bull Terrier.
I have been available for adoption since Apr 19, 2026.
I have been available for adoption since Apr 19, 2026.
Age: The shelter thinks I am about 5 years old.
Weight: I weigh approximately 58.00 lbs.
More Info: I have been at the shelter since Apr 19, 2026.
Leo is a 4-year-old pit bull mix with a talent for making people laugh and a
face you won`t forget-mainly because his adorable ears can`t agree on which
direction they`d like to go. It`s part of his charm, and honestly, he`s not
changing for anyone.
This playful guy is all about fun. Toss a ball? He`s on it. Will he bring it
back? Absolutely not. That part is between you and your personal growth
journey. Leo prefers to keep the game exciting by keeping the ball. He`ll
happily bounce around you with play bows, inviting you to join in on the
chaos.
He`s also a big fan of splash time-if there`s a pool, expect
Leo to be living his best life with a happy little dip. Bonus feature: booty
scratches activate full-body wiggles, guaranteed to improve your mood
instantly.
He appears housebroken (takes care of business right away on walks) and comes with a
great report card from his previous home: possibly housebroken, crate trained, loves
car rides, good on leash, has had some training, and is not an escape
artist. He was sadly surrendered due to a divorce and a move where pets
weren`t allowed-not because of anything he did.
Leo is reportedly friendly with adults and kids, but he does chase other
dogs and cats. A meet & greet is recommended due to his forward nature.
If you`re looking for a goofy, water-loving, booty-scratch enthusiast who
will keep you smiling (and maybe keep your tennis balls), Leo is your guy.
