Meet Panther — Big Name, Bigger Heart!
With a name like Panther, you'd expect a sleek jungle predator. Instead, you get a lovable Boxer mix whose greatest hunting skill is tracking down pets and attention. Panther may look a little stressed in his kennel, but don't let his first impression fool you. The moment he's outside, he transforms into a friendly, affectionate cuddle bug. He comes when called, stays close to his people, and leans in for pets like it's his full-time job. Toys didn't make Panther's VIP list, but he did enjoy chasing a ball. He was also perfectly polite with another dog nearby, staying calm despite all the shelter excitement happening around him. Between the staff, noises, and busy activity, Panther was simply trying to keep up with all the neighborhood gossip. He walks with just a light pull on leash, takes treats as gently as a gentleman, and while he hasn't mastered "sit" yet, he's ready to earn his diploma—especially if snacks are part of the curriculum.
Panther would make an awesome hiking or running partner and would love a family that can provide daily walks and adventures. A meet and greet is recommended for any future canine roommates.
