Meet Crisp — Legally Cleared, Treat Obsessed, Zoomie Certified
Crisp is a 1-year-old female Pit Bull mix who is finally ready to find her forever home.
Crisp walks nicely on leash and made her grand return to freedom with a calm stroll to the lobby pen like she hadn’t spent months being patient and polite about it. She already knows “sit,” takes treats gently, and has strong opinions about the importance of snack distribution schedules — mostly “more, please.”
In the yard, she explored, sniffed, and then remembered she is, in fact, a young dog with zoomies to attend to. Toys and balls were politely declined, but human interaction? 10/10, highly addictive. She came back repeatedly for pets and treats, often sitting right in front of her handler like a tiny furry attorney presenting closing arguments: “I rest my case… but also, treat?”
She’s very affectionate and gives plenty of kisses once she decides you’re part of her support team. Crisp also handled moving through the admin building with ease, then discovered frozen treats — which briefly turned her into a joyful blur of enthusiasm trying to escort it all the way back to her kennel.
Soft, sweet, silly, and people-focused, Crisp is ready to start her “forever family + snacks on demand” era.
