Meet Timmy — The Big Softie in a Rottie Suit.

Timmy is a 4-year-old male Rottweiler mix who may look tough on the outside, but underneath he’s all soft edges and sweet intentions. Calm, mellow, and easygoing, he prefers a relaxed pace and likes to take his time soaking in the world around him. As he settles in, he’s showing more of his affectionate, gentle personality—and it’s a good one.
Timmy already has a solid foundation in basic obedience. He mostly sits on cue, comes when called, and takes treats with a soft, polite mouth. He’s generally attentive and responsive, with a good start on manners that will continue to shine with consistency and positive reinforcement—though he may occasionally pass on treats, showing his independent, thoughtful nature. He enjoys attention and petting, especially once he feels comfortable, and really shines as a calm, close companion.

Timmy is easy to leash (no dramatic performances here) and walks with a steady “let’s go straight ahead” mindset. He may pull a little at times, but overall keeps it to a light-to-medium level and settles nicely into walks.

He can be a bit decerning when meeting new people, often taking a moment to observe(and voice an opinion or two) before deciding you’re worth his time, but once he warms up, he’s affectionate, loyal, and happy to be close. Because of his thoughtful, slow-to-warm nature, Timmy would really benefit from a relaxed meet-and-greet with the family pet to help him feel comfortable and show his true self.

Give him a little patience and kindness, and you’ll see him blossom into a wonderful companion who just wants to feel safe and loved.
