Meet Sonjah - Professional Introvert Seeking Cozy Retirement Home
Sonjah is a 4-year-old German Shepherd mix whose hobbies include quiet
observation, polite snack acceptance, and pretending she doesn`t want
affection right before leaning directly into you for pets. She can be a
little shy at first, but once she decides you`re trustworthy, she transforms
into a calm, affectionate shadow who just wants to hang out nearby.
She came in with two other dogs, Cresent and Pluto, and seems perfectly
happy sharing space with canine companions without needing to turn
everything into a wrestling match. She`s more of a "pleasant coworker" than
a "life of the party." She also showed friendly interest in dogs through the
fence, but a meet & greet is recommended to make sure everyone is a good
fit.
Sonjah knows how to sit on command, takes treats gently, and is easy to
handle. She`s a lower-energy girl who would much rather quietly lay at your
feet than create chaos. Her idea of a perfect day includes peaceful sniffy
walks, relaxing beside her people, and soaking up affection once she feels
comfortable.
