Meet Speedy: Slightly Wrinkly, Wiggly, and Running on Compliments
Speedy is a young Chinese Sharpei mix whose name suggests “race car,” but honestly his main speed seems to be how fast he can lean into you for scratches. This handsome squish-faced guy is friendly, affectionate, and fully convinced that every human was created specifically to provide deluxe full-body pets. He walks fair on leash, is mostly nonreactive with other dogs, and has mastered the art of gently taking treats… right before dramatically deciding your snack choices are beneath him. Speedy is extremely picky with treats and would like everyone to stop offering basic biscuits like he’s some kind of peasant.
He doesn’t know “sit” yet, but he does know how to stare deeply into your soul while demanding more scratches, which honestly feels like an advanced skill. Once the petting starts, Speedy leans in with his whole adorable wrinkly body like he’s trying to permanently attach himself to your side. If you’re looking for a sweet, goofy, velvety little shadow with expressive wrinkles and very strong opinions about treats, Speedy is ready to speed directly into your heart.
