Meet Coco, a 3-year-old neutered German Shepherd mix whose greatest talents include relaxing in the shade, collecting pets, and convincing people to share treats. This friendly, gentle guy has an easygoing personality and a medium energy level, making him the perfect companion for someone who enjoys daily walks followed by plenty of downtime.
Coco is content to stroll by your side, soak up attention, and enjoy the simple things in life. He is treat motivated, has basic obedience training, walks nicely on leash, and rides well in the car. He's the kind of dog who is happy just being part of whatever you're doing.
Coco was recently adopted but returned after demonstrating some impressive escape-artist skills. To be fair, he was being kept primarily outdoors, and Coco seems much more interested in spending time with his people than living the backyard life. He will need a secure yard or supervised outdoor time to help keep his adventures under control.
Coco has been nonreactive around other dogs at the shelter, but a meet and greet is recommended for any potential canine roommates.
