I have been available for adoption since May 09, 2026.
Age: The shelter thinks I am about 6 years old.
Weight: I weigh approximately 54.30 lbs.
More Info: I have been at the shelter since May 09, 2026.
LUNA: RETIRED FROM DRAMA, CURRENTLY ACCEPTING NAPS
Meet Luna, a 6-year-old Queensland Heeler mix who has officially mastered the art of taking life easy.
Luna's daily schedule is simple: sniff around to make sure everything is in order, find a nice shady spot, and settle in for some quality relaxation. While other dogs are busy creating chaos, Luna is busy wondering if anyone would like to admire her excellent manners.
Luna arrived at the shelter with another dog, but her buddy was adopted shortly after they got here. Now Luna is patiently waiting for her own happy ending. She's handling the change like the calm, sensible girl she is, but she'd much rather be back in a home where she can enjoy companionship, comfort, and plenty of shady spots for lounging.
She's friendly, affectionate, and comes fully equipped with a respectable list of skills, including sit, down, stay, and come. She walks nicely on leash, takes treats gently, and generally behaves like she's been reading books on good citizenship.
Her previous owner reported that Luna is housetrained, crate trained, and not interested in testing fences or planning escape missions. She prefers the comforts of home over adventures in unauthorized locations.
If you're looking for a loyal companion who enjoys affection, appreciates a good shady spot, and has already figured out that life doesn't need to be complicated, Luna may be your perfect match.
