Meet Sesame Seed – Tiny Name, Mellow Vibes

Like the finishing touch on your favorite burger, Sesame Seed makes everything better.

This 4-year-old Pit Bull mix was surrendered when her family had to travel frequently for work, but they left behind a glowing review. According to her former owners, she's housebroken, crate trained, loves car rides, has had obedience training, isn't destructive, and has absolutely no interest in pursuing a career as an escape artist. Cats, however? She considers them a very exciting spectator sport and would prefer a cat-free home.

Sesame Seed is a mellow girl who enjoys taking life at a comfortable pace. She loves leisurely walks where she can sniff every tree, bush, and blade of grass to stay current on the latest neighborhood news. Once her detective work is done, she's perfectly content to relax in the shade and enjoy quality time with her people.

She's got an impressive résumé of skills, including sit, shake, down, stay, and come, and she takes treats with the delicacy of someone handling fine china. Described by her former family as "very lovable and trainable," Sesame Seed enjoys affection and will happily lean into you for pets. When she's feeling especially comfortable, she'll roll right over for belly rubs and soak up every minute of attention.

Sesame Seed can be a little shy and tense when meeting new people, preferring thoughtful introductions over surprise parties. Once she feels safe, her sweet and affectionate personality shines through. She may pull a bit on leash when something interesting catches her attention, but a harness helps her walk nicely.

If you're looking for a gentle companion who enjoys car rides, sunny strolls, shady naps, and plenty of affection, Sesame Seed may be the perfect addition to your family.
