Meet Chancey: Small Shepherd, Big Personality
Chancey is a 3-year-old German Shepherd mix who proves that great things come in smaller packages! At just 46 pounds, she's the fun-size version of a German Shepherd—full of charm, affection, and shepherd smarts.
She was a little shy when she first came in, but it didn't take long for her sweet personality to shine. In the play yard, Chancey politely greeted the dogs in neighboring yards, sniffed around to investigate her surroundings, and then decided the best place to be was right next to her human. The moment her volunteer sat down, she climbed into her lap and handed out plenty of kisses. Personal space? Chancey thinks it's overrated.
She's easy to leash, walks nicely on leash, knows "sit," and takes treats gently. Chancey enjoys toys but isn't obsessed with them—she'd much rather spend her time hanging out with her people and soaking up attention.
