Life in the shelter is a little overwhelming for Lark, so she can seem
stressed in her kennel. But once she`s outside, it`s like someone flips a
switch! This 37-pound Lab mix blossoms into a friendly, affectionate girl
who just wants to play, explore, and spend time with her people.
Lark is the perfect compact size for adventures. Whether you`re looking for
a hiking buddy, a jogging partner, or just someone to make your daily walks
more fun, she`s ready to lace up her imaginary sneakers and go! She loves
playing with toys and has the energy to keep the fun going.
When the excitement winds down, Lark`s sweet side shines. Sit down for a
minute, and she`ll gently place her paws in your lap to politely request
cuddles. She walks with just a light pull on leash, takes treats gently, and
while she hasn`t learned `sit` just yet, she`s young, eager, and ready to
learn.
Lark has been soft and friendly with other dogs outside the kennel, though a
meet and greet is recommended for any future canine roommates. She is
recommended for a home with children 12 and older.
