Meet Corazon - The Blue-Eyed Beauty with an Old Soul (and a Secret Talent
for Opening Gates!)
Don`t let those stunning blue eyes fool you-Corazon isn`t here to cause
drama. She`s more of a gentle, thoughtful girl who likes to take a moment to
size things up before deciding you`re one of her favorite people. Spoiler
alert: it doesn`t take long! Once she warms up, she`s affectionate, sweet,
and happily leans in for pets like she`s known you forever.
At just 2 years old, Corazon has the heart and wisdom of an old soul. She`s
calm, gentle, easy to leash, and walks beautifully by your side. She knows
sit and takes treats with perfect manners.
Her previous owner made the difficult decision to surrender her simply
because they didn`t have enough time to give her the life she deserves. They
shared that Corazon is an inside dog who is housetrained, crate trained,
loves car rides, and is friendly with adults, kids, and other dogs. She does
enjoy chasing cats (more for the fun of the chase than anything else), so a
cat-free home may be the best fit.
Now...about that little `special skill.` Corazon has apparently been
studying advanced gate mechanics and has been known to let herself out if
left unattended outside! She`ll need a secure yard or supervised outdoor
time to keep her safe and prevent any unauthorized neighborhood adventures.
Because she can be shy with new people, she`s recommended for children 12
and older who will give her a little time to settle in. A meet-and-greet
with any resident dogs is also recommended.
