Description: Shelter staff named me Regis and I am a spayed female, black and white Labrador Retriever mix.
I have been available for adoption since Jul 13, 2026.
I have been available for adoption since Jul 13, 2026.
Age: The shelter thinks I am about 2 years old.
Weight: I weigh approximately 45.50 lbs.
More Info: I have been at the shelter since Jul 06, 2026.
Meet Regis, a 2-year-old spayed female Labrador Retriever mix who apparently
runs on batteries that never need replacing. This energetic girl is
basically the canine Energizer Bunny-she just keeps going, and going, and
going! If you`re looking for a dog who will happily keep up with an active
lifestyle, Regis is ready to clock in.
Regis absolutely loves to run and has a blast chasing after thrown toys and
balls. She`ll chase them with enthusiasm, although she`s not always
convinced that playing with the toy afterward is nearly as exciting as the
chase itself. Her real specialty is the pool: toss a ball, watch Regis
launch herself into the water, and then prepare for the zoomies that follow.
Pool + ball + Regis = instant entertainment!
She can pull on leash when her excitement kicks in, but a harness helps her
walk more comfortably and manageably. Regis knows her sit and is gentle when
taking treats, although she considers herself a bit of a snack critic and
can be picky about what makes the cut.
Because Regis can be a little forward with other dogs, a meet-and-greet with
resident dogs is recommended to make sure everyone is comfortable with her
energetic personality.
Regis would make an awesome hiking, running, or adventure partner. She`d
also benefit from daily walks, plenty of activity, and a training class to
help channel all that enthusiasm into some excellent doggy skills. If you`re
ready for a fun-loving, high-energy companion who is always up for the next
adventure, Regis is ready to get moving!
