Located At: Albuquerque Animal Welfare Department - Westside
Description: Shelter staff named me Tricia and I am a spayed female, brown brindle and white Boxer and American Pit Bull Terrier.
I have been available for adoption since Aug 13, 2026.
I have been available for adoption since Aug 13, 2026.
Age: The shelter thinks I am about 3 years old.
Weight: I weigh approximately 65.00 lbs.
More Info: I have been at the shelter since Aug 09, 2026.
Meet Tricia, a gorgeous 3-year-old spayed female Boxer mix with one blue eye
and one brown eye-because apparently choosing just one color was far too
boring for her!
Tricia is friendly, affectionate, and fully convinced that despite being a
Boxer mix, she is actually a lap dog. She loves leaning in for pets and
would happily squeeze herself into your lap for some quality cuddle time.
She`s gentle when taking treats and enjoys sniffing and exploring her
surroundings. She even waded in the pool, proving she`s willing to consider
a little aquatic adventure!
This girl enjoys chasing toys and would love daily walks to help keep her
body and brain happily occupied. She pulls on leash, but a harness helps,
and she could benefit from a training class to polish up her manners.
Because of her activity level, Tricia is recommended for older kids. A meet
and greet with other dogs is also recommended to make sure everyone is a
good match.
If you`re looking for a sweet, active companion with mismatched eyes, a big
personality, and absolutely no understanding of the phrase `too big to be a
lap dog,` Tricia may be your girl!
