I have been available for adoption since Aug 18, 2026.
Age: The shelter thinks I am about 10 years old.
Weight: I weigh approximately 96.00 lbs.
More Info: I have been at the shelter since Aug 18, 2026.
Meet Scar, a 10-year-old Redbone Coonhound mix who proves that sometimes the
best adventures end with a nap. Scar is a big guy with a wonderfully calm
and mellow personality, and he has his priorities figured out: take a nice
walk, do some exploring, find a good patch of grass, roll around a little,
and then settle in for a well-earned snooze.
Scar will politely sniff other dogs, decide he has gathered all the information he needs, and simply walk
away. No drama, no fuss-just a gentleman with places to be and naps to take.
Scar would love a home where he can enjoy daily walks, plenty of affection,
and a soft couch where he can spend his retirement years. He`s ready to
trade the shelter life for the good life-and he firmly believes every senior
deserves a comfortable couch and plenty of naps.
