Description: My name is Choco and I am a male, brown and white American Pit Bull Terrier mix.
I have been available for adoption since Aug 19, 2026.
I have been available for adoption since Aug 19, 2026.
Age: The shelter thinks I am about 11 months old.
Weight: I weigh approximately 48.70 lbs.
More Info: I have been at the shelter since Aug 19, 2026.
When Choco first arrived at the shelter, he was very scared and unsure of
the world. He joined our Shy Dog Program, and WOW-look at him now! He`s
making fantastic progress and discovering that people aren`t so bad after
all!
These days, Choco is loose, wiggly, and friendly. He enjoys attention and
petting, stays close to his people, and is becoming quite the affectionate
little guy. He takes treats gently and has excellent snack manners.
Choco is also dog friendly and enjoys hanging out with his canine friends.
He walks well on leash and would make a great walking buddy.
His previous owner reported that Choco is crate trained, loves riding in the
car, walks well on leash, and has had obedience training, but he may only
know commands in Spanish!
Choco is recommended for kids 12+ and would love a patient family who will
continue helping him build confidence. This sweet boy has already come such
a long way, and he`s ready to discover just how sweet life can be!
