Iris is a fabulous 6-year-old Black Mouth Cur mix who’s outgrown the wild puppy days but still has endless zest for life. She’s your perfect partner for outdoor adventures and lazy couch cuddles alike!
This smart and curious girl loves sniffing her way through the yard, exploring every nook with delight before zooming around in a joyful burst of energy—usually with a tennis ball firmly in mouth! Iris is a total ball queen and knows exactly how to keep playtime fun and lively.
When she’s on leash, Iris is calm and well-mannered, and she already knows how to “sit” on command. She seems house trained and loves settling down for some well-earned pets and quiet time right by your side.

Iris has shown some aggressive behavior when restrained or touched in ways she doesn’t like, so she needs a patient adopter who understands her boundaries. For her safety and happiness, Iris must live in a home with **no children**.
