Melinda is a sweet 2-year-old girl who has graduated from our Shy Dog Program. While she may still be a little reserved when first meeting new people, she warms up beautifully with a little patience and kindness. Once she feels safe, Melinda becomes affectionate and cuddly—she’ll even try to climb into your lap for extra love!
Melinda is on the smaller side, making her a great companion for someone looking for a petite pup. She’s gentle, knows how to "sit," and enjoys sniffing and exploring the world at her own pace. She’s also very tolerant around other dogs—even the noisy ones don’t seem to bother her!
This lovely girl was surrendered through no fault of her own; her previous family had to move and couldn’t take her along. She’d thrive in a home with children over 10 and would love to meet any resident dogs to ensure a good fit. Daily walks, gentle affection, and a quiet place to settle in would be Melinda’s dream come true.
