Meet Cody!
Cody is a young male Pit Bull mix who is still adjusting to the shelter life. The shelter environment can be a bit overwhelming for him—he’s not a fan of all the noise and hustle—but take him out to the play yard, and you'll see his true colors shine! Out in the open, Cody lights up with energy, curiosity, and that signature goofy charm we all love.
He came in with another dog and currently has a play partner here at the shelter, so we know he truly thrives with the company of canine friends. A meet and greet is recommended to make sure any potential furry siblings are a good match.
Cody is affectionate, sweet, and loves soaking up attention and pets from people once he feels comfortable. He would do best in a home with older kids (12+) due to his playful energy and occasional jumping. He’s still learning the ropes and would benefit from basic training, but he’s eager to please and ready to grow with the right family.
Whether it’s daily walks, hikes, or even joining you on a jog, Cody would make an awesome adventure buddy. All he needs is a little patience, a loving home, and a canine pal (or two!) to help him feel safe and confident.
Ready to meet Cody? He’s waiting to wag his way into your heart!
