Meet Ashston, a 2-year-old male Husky mix who would like you to know that he
has places to go, things to investigate, and absolutely no time to waste
standing around discussing it. This energetic guy is basically in constant
motion, and his Husky brain is clearly running several side quests at all
times!
Ashston came to the shelter with another dog, so he may be dog friendly. A meet and greet is recommended to make
sure he finds the right canine companion. He is currently stressed in his
kennel, which is understandable when you`re a high-energy guy who would much
rather be out exploring than sitting in a small space.
Once Ashston gets out of his kennel, he may pull initially because, in his
mind, the important thing is GO! He is very active and independent and likes
to do things on his own schedule. Ashston is friendly, but he`s not the type
to immediately throw himself into your arms. He prefers to get to know you
on his terms and in his own time-and honestly, he probably thinks making you
wait a little makes the eventual friendship more meaningful.
Ashston is looking for someone who appreciates an active, independent dog
with plenty of personality. Give him room to explore, some time to get
comfortable, and a chance to show you who he is, and you may discover that
this handsome Husky mix is worth the wait. Just don`t expect him to sit
still for the interview-he has places to be!
