More Info: I have been at the shelter since Aug 01, 2025.
MEET CHUBBS!
My friends describe me as: Independent, Snuggly, Communicative
This 9-year-old Shar Pei is the perfect blend of independent spirit and total sweetheart. True to his breed, Chubbs can be a bit aloof at first, but once you earn his trust, he transforms into a total mush -- leaning in for snuggles and even offering gentle (slobbery) kisses. Chubbs is looking for a patient , Shar Pei-savvy owner who understands the breed's unique needs and is committed to building a strong partnership with a trusted vet to keep this fella in good health. Because Chubbs prefers interactions on his own terms, a low-stress vet protocol is a must to help visits go without a hitch. Chubbs loves nothing more than long sniffy walks, playdates with respectful dog friends, and cuddles with his favorite people. If you're ready to open your heart to a loyal companion, Chubbs might just be your guy!
Please note Chubbs will require multiple meets before going home with his new fam!
Chubbs is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been neutered, microchipped, and seen by our vet team.
