Located At: Animal Rescue League of Boston – Brewster Shelter
Description: I am a neutered male, red Portuguese Water Dog.
Age: The shelter staff think I am about 5 years old.
More Info: I have been at the shelter since Jun 09, 2026.
My friends describe me as: Curious, shy and gentle
Meet Pepper!
He has found his way to us by way of surrender through no fault of his own. He is a little under socialized, because of this he is a little nervous with new people and environments, he does warm up with time and patience. Pepper is very sweet and trusting if he is allowed to on his time.

Pepper is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and seen by our vet team.
We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY however, we are unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements.
For more information on this or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston please visit us during our adoption center hours: Wednesdays-Sundays from 1:00PM – 6:00PM, Tuesdays by appointment only from 1:00PM – 6:00PM, closed Mondays & Holidays.
