Description: I am a spayed female, tortie Domestic Shorthair.
Age: The shelter staff think I am about 4 years old.
More Info: I have been at the shelter since Jun 17, 2026.
MEET GERTRUDE!
Lonely? Need someone to talk to? Gertrude is the cat for you! This large loquacious lady has a lot to say and would be happy to carry on a conversation. She promises not to bring up politics or religion, but she has opinions on many other topics. At 14.5 lbs, she could stand to lose a few pounds (like many of us), but we know she enjoys a good exercise/play session with her toys. Make some room on the couch and bring Gertude home!
Gertrude is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and been seen by our vet team.
For more information on this or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements. Also, be sure to check out our:
