Description: I am a spayed female, black and gray Australian Shepherd.
Age: The shelter staff think I am about 10 years old.
More Info: I have been at the shelter since May 21, 2026.
My friends describe me as: Shy, Quirky, Affectionate
Meet Shatzi!!
Shatzi comes from the German word "Schatz" which means treasure, and what a treasure she is! Shatzi came from a home with lots of other dogs, so she is used to them, but is still warming up to people. She can be nervous of new people + new things, but is super sweet and with lots of patience and love, she will be a wonderful companion! Shatzi will do best in a quiet home outside the city where she can ease into her new life at her own pace. If Shatzi has caught your eye stop by our Dedham Shelter to meet her!
Shatzi is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed, microchipped and seen by our vet team.
We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY however, we are unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements.
