Hi there! My name is Daisy, and I’m a 5-year-old Pit Bull mix looking for my forever family!
I came to the shelter when my family’s living situation changed, and they could no longer keep me. They were very sad to say goodbye, but they loved me enough to make sure I had the chance to find another wonderful home. They told the shelter all about what a loving girl I am, and I’m ready to show my next family just how much love I have to give!
I absolutely adore people. I’m super friendly, affectionate, and always happy to make a new friend. In fact, I’ve become quite the shelter celebrity! Volunteer groups sometimes come in for some playtime and snuggles with one of the dogs, and I have been an absolute ROCKSTAR at it. I love soaking up attention from everyone I meet and am always ready for some affection!
I’m also a big-time snuggle bug. After some fun and playtime, I’m perfectly happy settling down with my favorite humans for some quality cuddle time. I’m housebroken and crate-trained, too, and my previous family says I was very respectful of their furniture and belongings. My toys, on the other hand…well, those are another story!
I LOVE toys, especially squeaky ones. They make me so excited, and I have an absolute blast playing with them. I can be a bit of a toy destroyer, though, so my shelter friends make sure I’m supervised with squeaky toys and give me indestructible toys when I’m on my own. I enjoy those, too, but squeaky toys definitely have my heart! I also love a good game of fetch.
I’ve done well in playgroup at the shelter and have lived with other dogs before. I’ve also lived with children ranging in age from 2 and up, and my family described me as very loving with them. If I might have a dog sibling in my new home, we’ll just need to meet at the shelter first to make sure we’re a great match.
When I’m not playing, I’m a calm, loving girl who is happiest being close to my people. I can enjoy a good romp outside, chase a toy, play some fetch, and then happily curl up beside you for a cozy cuddle session.
I’m sweet, social, playful, affectionate, and ready for a family who will love me as much as I’ll love them.

If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings. Dogs are individuals and have personality conflicts, just like us. Play groups do not guarantee that territorial or resource guarding issues will not surface in the home. While play groups do help us get to know the dog's better, once they are adopted their new environments and new relationships will influence their behavior in ways we cannot predict.

- Current on NexGard PLUS Monthly Preventative Chew (Flea/Tick/Heartworm Preventative & Dewormer)

Per state law, ALL ADOPTERS must purchase a non-refundable 2026 dog license at time of adoption for any canine three months and older. The cost of the license is $11.30. (Senior Citizen or Person with Disability-$9.30)
