Age: The shelter staff think I am about 5 years old.
More Info: I have been at the shelter since May 30, 2026.
Dior is a 5-year-old Belgian Malinois with a heart as big as her beautiful smile. This girl is incredibly friendly and absolutely loves her people! She greets everyone at the door with excitement and a wagging tail, and once you’re her friend, she’ll happily stay as close to you as possible, soaking up every bit of attention she can get.
Dior is a big-time cuddler who loves being by her person’s side. Whether you’re relaxing on the couch, doing things around the house, or simply going about your day, Dior will happily follow along, keeping you company and making sure you never feel alone.
She is a smart girl who knows sit, stay, come, paw, and down. She is also crate trained and is perfectly comfortable relaxing in her crate, which her foster family calls her “place.” Dior is very treat motivated and definitely isn’t picky when it comes to snacks!
When it comes to playtime, Dior occasionally gets the zoomies and loves running around the yard. She isn’t particularly interested in traditional fetch, but she has discovered a fun alternative—she’ll throw the ball herself and chase after it! She also enjoys keeping an eye out for birds, squirrels, and lizards from the yard. Bath time? No problem! Dior is wonderful with baths and doesn’t mind the water at all.
Dior is a gentle girl, but she is very hard on her toys, so sturdy toys like Kongs are definitely the way to go.
Dior would do best as the only pet in the home. She can become stressed or bark when she encounters other dogs, so she’ll need an adopter who is comfortable walking her on leash and can help her feel confident and successful when out and about.
