Meet Jess, aka Lovepug, Cuddlepug, Snugglepug, Frankie the Tankie. She is patient, gentle, and an expert listener who genuinely wants her human(s) to be happy with her so that she never has to be separated from them. The extraordinary softness of her coat coincides with the sweet softness of her spirit. She is a highly empathetic girl who is sensitive to the mood and environment around her, so big, sudden movements and (sometimes) elevated voices can make her nervous. Where she lacks in physicality and street smarts, she makes up with her high emotional intelligence.
Her two primary love languages are loving touch and snacks. She can get a little mouthy when she’s excited or receiving belly rubs, but never bites. It’s just her way of letting you know she wants more. When she encounters other dogs on her walks, she is curious, playful and friendly, and needs to be shielded from other dogs who are not as friendly; she overall seems confused by another dog's aggression.
At her foster home, she has her playful moments, but she can care less about squeaky toys and playing fetch. Give her a stuffed toy to keep her company and she will play with it when she feels like it. The only requests she has of her humans are food, short walks, and endless snuggles.
