Whisper is a quiet, gentle senior cat with a soft presence and an even softer heart. After about three weeks in a foster home, it became clear that her name suits her perfectly—she’s calm, subtle, and sweet in her own way. Whisper is shy but not withdrawn, often choosing to settle near her people and enjoy their company without demanding attention. As a senior, Whisper is still gaining strength and prefers a low-key lifestyle. She’s not a lap cat, but she enjoys being close and calmly accepts gentle petting, even from children who have learned to be soft and respectful with her. She allows some brushing, especially around her neck, and her fur is incredibly soft. She is litterbox trained, enjoys treats, and is happily eating wet food. Whisper tends to keep to a small, familiar area and feels most comfortable in quiet spaces. She does not roam much, has shown no destructive behaviors, and has displayed no aggression. Whisper would do best in a calm, patient home that understands senior cats and is willing to give her time, gentle care, and consistency.
