Meet Oatmeal!
Just like her name, Oatmeal is pure comfort wrapped up in a tiny, adorable package! This 13-week-old torbi tabby kitten is full of curiosity, playfulness, and endless charm. Whether she's chasing feather toys, pouncing on imaginary critters, or climbing to the highest perch for a better view, Oatmeal approaches every day as a new adventure. When playtime is over, this little sweetheart is more than happy to curl up for a cozy nap, soaking up all the love and attention she can get. Her gentle, affectionate nature makes her a wonderful companion, and she's sure to bring smiles and laughter wherever she goes. Oatmeal is ready to find a forever family who will watch her grow from a playful kitten into a lifelong best friend.
Oatmeal is on-site and available for introductions during open adoption hours. The adoption paperwork can be completed now with your new pet able to go home as soon as the spay/neuter procedure has been completed.
Adoptable cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, started on core vaccines per shelter protocols, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested, and started on monthly preventatives. Adoptions hours (no appointment needed) are M/T/W/F 10 am - 12:30 pm and 2 pm -4 pm; TH 10 am -12:30 pm and 2 pm -6:30 pm, and SAT 9 am -1 pm. To schedule an appointment outside of those hours, and/or to learn more information regarding a particular animal, please call the Feline Department at 410-848-4810 ext 816. If no one answers, please leave a detailed message with your name and phone number, and the call will be returned by end of business Monday - Friday.
Adopters can prepare for their visit by being 18 years of age or older, having permission from their landlord to bring a new pet into their household, having some form of ID that shows their current address, and by bringing a suitable carrier to take their new companion home in. The adoption fee can be paid using cash, debit or credit and is based on age: Cats 1 year and younger are $75; cats 2 years to 7 years are $50; and 8 years and older are $25.
