Meet Ward, Yanis & Zair – Three Little Survivors with Hearts of Gold! These three American Staffordshire mix siblings have already been through more than any puppy should have to endure. When they arrived at our shelter, Ward (black and white) weighed just 14.5 lbs, his sister Yanis (black and white) weighed 15.6 lbs, and their gray sister Zair weighed 16.4 lbs. Judging by their emaciated condition, these little ones had been fending for themselves for quite some time. But despite their rough start, you would never know it by meeting them! All three are incredibly sweet, gentle, and remarkably well-behaved for puppies. During their medical intake, instead of bouncing around or getting into mischief, they simply settled in beside our feet, happy just to be close to someone. It's hard not to fall in love with that kind of sweetness. They are currently on a carefully monitored, slow refeeding program as they work toward getting healthy and putting on some much-needed weight. Ward, Yanis, and Zair are available for foster or foster-to-adopt! They don't have a perfect past; they just need someone willing to give them the bright future they deserve. Please come meet these three special puppies or contact Chester County Animal Control to learn more about fostering. Let's show them that life can be pretty wonderful when you're finally on the receiving end of love!
