Sweet, gentle senior Reggie deserves a soft place to land, some well-earned TLC, and the comfy life he’s been waiting for. But don’t let “senior” fool you — Reggie is as playful, silly, and full of personality as any young pup, just with the added bonus of maturity and grace.
This goofy, big-hearted boy is a total cuddle bug who loves nothing more than snuggling close to his people. He’s house-trained, sleeps through the night, and is calm and easy to live with at home. Reggie rides great in the car and is an absolute joy on walks — easy on the leash, attentive and checking in with his person, and always happy to stop and enjoy the sniffs.
Reggie is smart and treat-motivated, already knows “sit” and “lay down,” and loves learning more for a tasty reward. He’s not mouthy, gentle with people, and easy to be around — a wonderful companion for kids, too. He’s very dog-friendly and quickly becomes everyone’s bestie, plus he’s cat-neutral and happy to coexist peacefully with household cats. He’s done great in a multi-pet home. His one quirk: he’s not big on sharing high-value toys or bones, but he’ll happily trade for a treat.
Reggie is pretty low-energy and content to relax by your side once the adventures are done. He’s non-destructive when left alone, though he can be a little anxious in a new environment at first — once he learns his people always come back, he settles in beautifully and grows more confident every day.
