Parker has had a rough start to life. He spent the first 1.5 years of his life chained outside and was later part of a 50+ dog confiscation case. Despite everything he’s been through, Parker has remained an incredibly sweet, gentle dog with zero aggression toward people, dogs, cats, or anything around him.
He is understandably fearful and traumatized, but what makes Parker so special is his willingness to be brave. He pushes himself to do hard things, learns incredibly quickly, and is extremely intelligent. He is now working with a behavior specialist and learning that humans can be safe and kind.
Parker loves being outside, going on walks and hikes, and having a predictable routine. He does well with kids, dogs, and cats, and a confident dog sibling would help show him the ropes. He is potty trained and loves his crate.
Parker doesn’t need someone to fix him, he needs someone patient enough to give him the time, kindness, and consistency to learn how to be a dog. He has so much potential, and he’s already proving how badly he wants to get there.
