Meet Eloise!
She is a 2-year-old pit bull/rat terrier mix with a gentle, loving spirit and a heart full of affection. She came to the shelter at the beginning of May as a stray, and since then has been patiently waiting for a place—and people—to call her own.
She is potty trained and crate trained. She is non destructive if left out alone and prefers to spend her quiet time curled up on the couch catching up on sleep.
She is not dog, cat or small kid friendly.
She has a sweet and shy personality—when you go to pet her, she’ll often sit or lay down in the most endearing way. While she can be a little nervous in new environments, she warms up quickly with a little reassurance.
Eloise is a dream companion: she rides great in the car, walks beautifully on a leash, and is happiest simply being near her people and soaking up affection.
She would thrive in a home that can offer patience, love, and consistency as she continues to build confidence. In return, she will give you unwavering loyalty and the sweetest companionship.
If you’re looking for a calm, gentle, and loving best friend, Eloise might be your perfect match.
About Eloise:
Loves veggies and fruits! Except celery and lettuce
Food driven
Loves squeaky toys, with supervision. She doesn't always spit the pieces out.
House broken
Not a barker. Except with vacuum, car rides and when her person gets home
Like to jump, and jumps high! (Maybe not small children)
Enjoys walks, pulls a little
No small pets: cats, lizzards, mice
Very sweet and playful with people
Best as the only Princess in the House
Very sweet personality
