Hello! Crawler is my government name, but I go by Carl. I am a 2yo, 42lb neutered male. I like to go on long walks with my foster mom and chase all the balls she throws for me. I love to go to doggy daycare to play with the staff and my friends. I also enjoy playing with my foster sister, Clara, and walk well with my other foster siblings, Beatrix and River, who are much smaller and older. I am not a fan of my cat foster sibling, Sanderson, and he is not a fan of me. Can't win them all! I am very food-motivated and know a few tricks already! I can sit, stay, give paw, lay down, and am learning to roll over. My favorite past time, besides going on walks, is chewing and playing with toys. I also will sit in your lap if you let me, and maybe even take a nap! I have a crate, but I sleep on top of it. Long story. I prefer to be around people vs playing on my own. I am currently working on using the potty outside and walking on a leash. Due to my collapsing trachea, I should only be walked on a harness. I may not be suitable for homes with small children or cats, but you never know! That's why staycations are great, I can stay with you for up to ten days to see if it's going to be a good fit. I hope to meet you soon!

- Gets overexcited on leash when he sees other dogs. Still training on that one
- Lap dog. Will nap on you if you let him
- Knows sit, stay, paw, lay down. Learning roll over
- Very food motivated and learns fast
- Professional ball chaser, toy enthusiast
- Still working on potty training. Belly band in the house for now, but no issues is let outside regularly
- Harness only for walks because of his mild collapsing trachea. Collars and slip leads will exacerbate his condition
- Might not be suitable with cats or very small children due to high energy and prey drive
