More Info: I was picked up in Charlotte.
I have been at the shelter since Apr 17, 2026.

Looking for a house hippo or master couch potato? Harry is your guy!
Harry in foster:
- potty/crate trained
- Dog friendly - was respectful with two resident dogs but would benefit from a sturdy playmate and slow intros always recommended
- He is strong but doesn’t pull too hard on the leash after initial excitement
- Loves to lounge, short walks and zoomie sessions is all he needs!
- Politely waits for treats and knows a few commands, “Sit, “wait”, “crate” and “bed” so far
- Interested in resident cats but can redirect and doesn’t fixate. For him to truly be his best self a no cats home is probably best
- Doesn’t understand what/why children are so 12+ or older for kids who should also be dog savvy and respectful of boundaries
- Love bug! But, Still figuring out his boundaries so offering affection (avoid coming from behind of butt pats) face forward is best. When he’s so comfy he would love chin scratches and belly rubs!
- Does well in public but definitely prefers to spend his time at home enjoying treats, bones, naps on repeat!
