The best adopter for Zoie is someone who is very patient and experienced with shy kitties. She is curious about the world, even if she’s not quite ready to dive into it. Zoie is still figuring things out and she’s making slow but steady progress!
More about Zoie:
- Remains aloof but is now feeling comfortable eating when you’re just a few feet away.
- Will come to sniff your hands during greetings, and as of about a week ago, she’s becoming genuinely affectionate.
- She loves being in the walk-in closet, though she’s exploring the bedroom more and retreating less at sudden movements or noises.
- Occasionally gets a little overstimulated and may gently swat, but she’s letting her foster pet her regularly.
- Loves her scratching pad, enjoys occasional wet food, and her spay site is healing nicely.
- She even ate a treat out of her foster’s hand for the first time.
- Wary of her foster-sibling cat, though she’s beginning to tolerate him. Since she doesn’t seek out conflict, she may be best as an only cat or with a peaceful, ambivalent companion.
- She may or may not become a lap cat but she's continuing to blossom.
