Meet Marlo!
Her story started in a community cat colony supported by Friends of Feral Felines — but she made it clear pretty quickly that she had something different in mind. While being trapped, she approached her caregivers and began building trust right away… almost like she was choosing a new path for herself.
She was in heat at the time, so she was spayed — and instead of returning her to the colony, we gave her a chance to see if indoor life might be her future. And she hasn’t looked back since.
She is absolutely flourishing indoors. She’s a litter box pro, has recently started discovering the joy of playtime, and loves to “chat” with her people about her day. You’ll often find her curled up in a cozy cubby or perched by the window, happily watching and listening to the birds outside.
She does well with middle school–aged children and adults, making her a great fit for a calmer household where she can bond with her people.
Right now, she would do best as the only pet in the home. When introduced to another cat, she became overwhelmed and reactive, so she’ll need a calm environment where she can feel safe and confident as the center of attention.
She’s still growing into her personality, but she’s already shown us how much love she has to give. She just needs the right home to continue her journey.
Could that be with you.
