Age: The shelter staff think I am about 3 years old.
Weight: 63 pounds
More Info: I was picked up in Charlotte.
I have been at the shelter since May 01, 2026.
I am available for adoption.

-3 y/o Staffy/Bully/Terrier mix with no health problems
-Very friendly!
-Moderate energy level. Enjoys longer walks when the weather is cooler, during hotter temperatures prefers shorter works, and loves playing fetch.
-Naps throughout the day and sleeps through the night with no problem.
-Potty Trained
-Working on crate training- eats all meals inside his crate and is willingly taking naps in his crate without prompting- Has not been left in the crate for extended periods of time yet.
-Knows: "sit", "stay", "come", "drop", "leave it", "out", "calm", and working on "crate"
-Was very leash reactive to approaching strangers and dogs when we first got him but has since had less reactivity with one group training session and the use of the loop lead.
-Velcro dog- does have separation anxiety
-Quirks: will bark at you or grabs onto random items as a "game" when he wants attention- this has gotten better which the "drop it" command and ignoring him until he settles, then rewarding him with lots of attention once he has calmed down.
-We haven't observed him arounds kids yet but his previous foster says he was great with kids
-No food aggression and takes treats gently
-Good with other dogs as long as introductions are slow and intentional
-VERY smart and has been easy to train
-Training progress: significant progress with crate training and decreased leash reactivity, has also made progress with training not to get on the furniture
-Has already had one group training session and a scheduled 1:1 training session for 7/26/26
